ITWAS A DISASTER!! My mom can be such an insensitive bitch sometimes! It started at at this brew pub and Barney was late so this other VULTURE came along and started talking her ear off...in front of his ex-wife and kids!!! Then Barney shows up and the other guy, Paul, knows him. So anyway the vulture Paul askes my mom for her # right in front of Barney and she gives it to him!! AHHH!! I guess Barney didnt think it was cool either but he still took us to dinner and I got wasted and Paul called today so my mom has a date with him tomorrow. GOOD LORD!!!

So my mom is coming up from Florida in the midst of 2 hurricanes/tropical storms/whatever. I have set her up on a blind date and I am so nervous about it. I know that he is a good person and I have known him for years but I hope they get along and all that. She wishes he was younger but she is 51 and he is 60. I think there is something about being a woman that gets you all giddy about love stories. I mean what if they really hit it off!? Then Barney( the blind date not the purple dinosaur) will really be a part of my life....not some divorcee from the bar. WEIRD!!!
